AAI (Angs Automotive Inc.) was established in 2019 by the new generation, Mr. Ceazar Anthony “Tonton” Ang, as its President, along with Ms. Anne Marie Ang Gochangco and Ms. Diane Michelle Ang Siy. AAI is the corporation behind the new-found dealerships: Chery Iloilo and Chery Bacolod, Foton Iloilo and Foton Bacolod.
In 2019, Chery Philippines, under United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI), awarded AAI the official and sole dealership of Chery vehicles in Panay and Bacolod. AAI launched the Chery brand at the Nissan Building, McArthur Drive Brgy. Quintin Salas, Jaro, Iloilo City, through ALA Group of Companies’ first-ever Banker’s Night in November 2019. In just eight (8) months, Chery-Iloilo sold more than thirty (30) units. The comfort and luxury brought by the Chery brand perfectly suited the needs and lifestyle of fellow Ilonggos.
Additionally, Angs Automotive Inc closely monitored the recent developments in the FOTON brand in the Philippines. Taking advantage of the steadily improving contribution of the country’s automobile sales through the introduction of new and exciting models and innovative promotional activities, Angs Automotive Inc formalized its intent to become the new Foton dealer in Iloilo City and the entire Panay area by signing an application on August 16, 2019.
Foton brand, known as Asia’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, offers a wide range of commercial vehicles, including passenger vehicles, and light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks. Just five (5) months later, A & B United Corporation transitioned into an authorized and official dealer of Foton brands. The company has sold and delivered several units from different areas in Iloilo and Bacolod.
